Teka Hill, Burundi
Teka Hill, Burundi
At an average of 1,860 masl, one of the highest in all of Burundi, sits Teka Hill. Home to 400 small holder producers, these specialty coffee farmers deliver their ripe cherry to the Teka Washing Station in Muramvya. Once delivered, they are sorted and floated to eliminate defects, and then processed. As a washed process, this Bourbon lot exudes clarity and focus in a deeply complex cup.
